Iowa is getting hotter; even it is very hot being there. This is not easy to make film at that area, especially when there is no shade and wind, but sullen production crews never stop to take scene shooting and make great movie, they have done great job there. So, why don’t read this review and salute them by watching their movie entitled Winnebago Man that will be released soon. Winnebago Man was directed by Ben Stenbauer, this unique movie’s scenario was written by Steinbauer himself and also Malcolm Pullinger as the assistant. At by Kendal Square and you will spend only 86 minutes to enjoy this movie, when they have spent months to take shoot of each scene.
Jack Rebney did that hard work, when come back to the camera since 1988, he become the inspiration of Steinbauer and finally he make this movie. Jack Rebney has curse up after take while of scene shooting but fail, at that time Winnebago is his big project. Since that day until 2005, we can find the videos on YouTube and until now Winnebago is everywhere. That’s the first inspiration of this movie and Stenbauer and crews are wondering, is he still alive, where is he, who is actually this guy, what story behind him? And many more questions.
And now, the answers are being prepared to show us, the documentary will tell us about Jack Rebney. Even though we cannot find the real Jack Rebney, but the Winnebago Man is still mystery even when Steinbauer hire detective to investigate about him. Jack Rebney is a viral video phenomenal and we cannot find someone like him in this world. But, finally Steinbauer really present a character study of him, let’s find out.
Above of all, Jack Rebney was a kind man, he was so interesting guy who live alone, work as caretaker in Northern California at a cabin.
He has unique character and still cursing just like drunken sailor. That’s no good sentence to describe Jack Rebney but the mystery is no being revealed by Steinbauer I guess. The documentary is not the real life, I am not sure it will be perfect but there is nothing we can do to proof it unless to enjoy what Stenbauer has done for world’s movie.
This movie has been made with sweat and hard effort, the investigation was not easy, it needed patience and also sacrifices.
